Lean Layout

Are the material flows in your workplaces unbalanced, do you see unreasonable handling and employees walking to and fro, as well as other signs of waste? Are you introducing new production, are you changing the composition, the number, the size or the technology? Are you moving production, do you want to integrate new machines into production, have you changed the method of handling material process elements?

The Lean Layout method will enable you to achieve a lean workplace (i.e. a workplace where waste elements are restrained)!

Lean Layout (LL) is based on the following principles:

  • Detailed process analysis is the basis for efficient material flows
  • Well-proven LL principles enable you to design a very efficient workplace
  • Detailed workplace layouts are created by teams of employees who work in it, with the support of modern graphic tools
  • LL also comprises the use of other IE methods (SMED, VM)
The result of implementing Lean Layout:
ü Creating conditions for simple material flows, limiting unreasonable handling and storage, saving space
ü Reducing lead time and limiting inventories, increasing productivity
ü Increasing the flexibility of the production system
